Can’t believe you are no longer with us. You will be sorely missed. We will miss you at Cann Hall and GB. I will miss our chats, our laughs, dancing, parties, toasted sandwiches, cups of tea and many other things we shared together. Rest in perfect peace xx
Thank you for all the help you gave me and my family like taking my girls to school when I couldn’t get out and when the girls got nits for the first time and so did I and I came running down to you and you did our hair in that horrible stuff and you claimed me down and we have laughed about so many times. You were a very special and caring lady. You will be sorely missed by many, many people. God Bless Miriam.
Miriam recently had so much to say about how brilliant the Maggie's centre was. I will miss those chats but am so grateful I knew her as a girl and then a GB officer and then a fellow school run chum. A very special lady. X
Miriam has been my treasured friend for about 65 years. Whilst she loved living in London, she also so enjoyed her school holidays at her grandparents, who were our dear neighbours, in the small village of Coggeshall, Essex and we had such happy times together playing in the fields and nearby farm etc. After school our friendship continued and we met up with our children then later for visits to shows and meals out. I only wish we had met more often as she was such a lovely lady to spend time with. I think this is so obvious as I know she had so many friends. You will be missed so much Miriam and I will forever treasure the happy times we had together. May you now rest in peace x
Miriam was more than a neighbour to us. She was our very own Leytonstone Nan/ whilst our own folks lived out of town; it always felt so reassuring having Miriam next door and her expertise and experience with children meant we always felt in good hand if ever there was an emergency with our own children. Her warmth and kindness never went unnoticed when ever we saw her or spent time together in our gardens. Her home was always open to us as was ours to her. She was the best neighbour we’ve ever had, she made Leytonstone a home and a memorable place to us as a family. We Can’t believe we won’t see her again, she’ll always be in our hearts. All our love, The Pemberton’s
Remembering Miriam’s cheery personality and the way she brought out the best in my girls during their years at the Girls Brigade, with her guidance. A true treasure, rest well - never forgotten x
